The Balearic Islands have a budget of 30 million euros within the Investment Plan for the Energy Transition (PITEIB) that will be used to decarbonise the sea and promote innovative projects and drivers that contribute to decarbonising the economy.
This was announced yesterday by the Vice President and Minister of Energy Transition, Productive Sectors and Democratic Memory, Juan Pedro Yllanes, during a seminar in which a delegation from Cantabria, maritime clusters from the two autonomous communities, Ocean Renewable Energy and the UIB participated. , on the potential of coastal territories and their resources in terms of boosting the energy transition.
