NEOTEC

The objective of this project is the development of an element for capturing energy from sea waves, providing an additional solution to those existing in the field of marine renewable energies and leading the development of the wave sector, through the implementation of a universal and modular system. An energy conversion from hydraulic to mechanical is considered and, finally, from mechanical to electrical for subsequent self-consumption, storage or delivery to the grid.

The set of works and developments to be carried out to obtain a TRL9 commercial ROE turbine raises the following specific objectives:
- Develop an electronic variable speed power system.
- Develop a system with security functions for operations and telecommunications monitoring system.
- Develop a data collection system (Big Data).
- Develop a pre-competitive prototype of the system.
