PROJECT ROE DESCRIPTION
RENEWABLE OCEAN ENERGY SL is a company established in Palma de Mallorca on January 10, 2022, accompanied by a network of specialists. The vision is to propose a hydrodynamic turbine system that generates mechanical motion, converting it into electricity. This approach differs from other Wave Energy systems, such as the oscillating water column, buoy-based vertical motion absorption, or Archimedes wave swing.

The company is innovative as it opts for smaller, more efficient turbines suitable for calmer seas like the Mediterranean. The use of smaller turbines in Project ROE minimizes visual impact and allows deploying more turbines with minimal visual disturbance to the area.
The project aims to design and develop an energy capture element from sea waves, covering conceptual design, manufacturing phases, performance analysis, and final certification.
